BIMI Record Generator

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is an email standard that lets your brand logo appear next to your emails in supporting inboxes such as Gmail, Yahoo and Apple Mail. It builds trust and makes your emails easier to recognise.

Your domain needs SPF and DKIM set up, and a DMARC policy of p=quarantine or p=reject applied to all mail. Without an enforced DMARC policy, mailbox providers ignore your BIMI record.

Your logo must be a square SVG file saved in the SVG Tiny Portable/Secure (SVG Tiny P/S) profile, hosted on a public https link. Regular SVG exports usually need to be converted first.

Gmail and Apple Mail only show your logo if you add a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) or Common Mark Certificate (CMC). Yahoo can show logos without one. The certificate is a .pem file issued by an approved authority such as DigiCert or Entrust.

Add it as a TXT record in your domain's DNS settings, using the host name shown by the generator (usually default._bimi.yourdomain.com). DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to apply.
